Open the tubes, remove the signatures if necessary.
Place color 1 in the foreground and color 2 in the background.
The masks and selections are saved on the alpha layer.

Open the Alpha-Opaline-VSP layer
Window - Duplicate
Close the original and work on the copy (you could need the original for a
fresh restart..)
Flood fill with the gradient just created
