Paint Shop Pro - My Translations (valyscrappassion) - Cypriane

Preparation
Double-click on the Shadow-Cypriane-VSP preset and the Glass-Cypriane-VSP preset, which will install automatically.

Open the tubes, remove the signatures if necessary.
Open the masks and minimize them. Open the Cypriane-VSP texture and minimize it in your PSP. Set color 1 as the foreground and color 2 as the background.

Open the Alpha-Cypriane-VSP layer.
Window, Duplicate (Close the original and work on the copy).
Fill with color 1.

Layers, New Raster Layer.
Open Texture-Cypriane-VSP and minimize it.
In the Styles and Textures palette, in the foreground, click on Pattern, then on the Cypriane-VSP texture.

Fill the layer with this texture.
Layers, Properties, Mode to Multiply.
Layers, Merge, Visible Layers.

Selections, Load/Save Selection, Load Selection from Alpha Channel, Selection 1


Selections, Convert Selection to Layer.
Effects, Plugins, Filters Unlimited 2.0, [AFS IMPORT], sqborder2.

 This tutorial was made on May 24 - 2025.  I have used PSPX to make my translation; you can follow this tutorial with any other versions of PSP; the result might be slightly different.

 Download the zip file containing the materials - decompress and copy the originals; work with the copies.  For presets, doubleclick on them and they will install themselves.  For gradients, masks, selections, textures etc, simply place in your appropriate PSP folders.

Preparation
Double-click on the preset Pers-Shadow-Mayline-VSP and it will install itself in its right place.
Open the tubes and delete the watermark as indicated
Open and minimize the masks until needed

Open the alpha layer - Window - Duplicate and close the original
Always work on the copies as you might need the originals later on
Flood fill this layer with color 1 #0c6781
Open the tube '1287MulherByqnaAlice' - Copy/Paste as a new layer in your image
Image - Free rotation - 90 to the left

Adjust - Blur - Radial blur

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Toadies - Weaver

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance more

Merge - Merge down

Selections - Load/Save a selection from the alpha channel and select 'Sélection#1'

Flood fill with Color 2 #f97012

Selections - Select none

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless tiling and select 'Side by side' in the presets

Click on the red arrow and browse to the preset 'Flexify2-Mayline-VSP' from the Materials

Layers - Properties - Lower the opacity of this layer to 80%
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow 2 / 2 / 50 / 10

Open the tube '1287MulherByPqnaAlice'
Copy/Paste as a new layer into your image
Note: if you use your own character, the following steps may be different; refer to the final result to adjust your resizing, mirror and offset effects on your own image
Image - Resize to 70% uncheck 'Resize all layers'
Repeat this resize step
Image - Mirror
Using your Pick tool (or hit the letter K on your keyboard),
Position horizontal at 641 - Position vertical at 23

Hit your letter M on your keyboard to disable

Copy/Paste as a new layer in your image
Using your Pick tool (or hit the letter K on your keyboard),
Position horizontal 272 - Position verticale 215

Hit the letter M on your keyboard
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow 2 / 2 / 100 / 00 with Color 2 #f97012

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow 1 / 1 / 40 / 6 with black

Open the tube 'Deco-Mayline-VSP'
Copy/Paste as a new layer in your image
Layer - Arrange - Move down twice

Your layer palette should look like this:


and your image, like this (I used different colors):

Image - Add symmetric borders of 2 px with Color 3 #97b343
Selections - Select all
Image - Add borders unchecking 'Symmetric'

Top and Bottom at 30 - Right and Left at 45 color is not important
